The one thing he's not watching is TV
See if you can go a few days without it. Right now is a great time to give it a shot.

Please research any organization claiming to be concerned with the welfare of animals, before making donations etc. I myself know of a few very popular ones that I want to have nothing to do with.

Charlie's favorite place
It's very hard to find them because recently they have spread out more. Also I have very little light available for a proper exposure by the time I leave work and get to the park these days. Saw an adult hawk in The Mall today which may have been Charlotte. Friday September 9, 2005

Telescope cart dismantled
After a year and a half of convenient storage on the Upper Westside (near to Central Park), I was forced to dismantle the rig so I can get it into my apartment. This means it won't be seen in the park anytime soon. I am working on a new design that will get it in and out of the apartment easy without scaling the equipment down. I also plan to ask the building management at The Trump Parc if I can keep it there.

If you think it looks big next to the Model Sailboat Pond in Central Park, you should see how it looks next to my bed!

A rat on the east edge of Turtle Pond
To him the world is a beautiful place to jump and hop and be happy. Thursday September 8, 2005

I looked in the ballfield, I waited and watched but no hawk flew across the dusty sunlit ground.
Thursday September 8, 2005

I searched the trees but there were no little stinkers in them either.
Thursday September 8, 2005

Except for the odd songbird the sky too was bare of hawks this evening.

None of the windows of the Fifth Avenue buildings had anyone perched on them.

The moon I'm sure is keeping watch over them all.
