A very high percentage of the opportunities I get to photograph Palemale & Lola comes from pure luck. This evening I had none of that luck. It was truly sad to have all that sunshine for about an hour and not see either of them. All I saw was the waxing Moon, and peering through the branches above my head I saw a few Stars.
