Palemale just north of Alice In Wonderland, early Friday morning.

The real face behind the handsome, austere facade.

Lola over Fifth Avenue

There were two young hawks flying and interacting near the Model Sailboat Pond area.

Palemale interacted with them and after reviewing the shots I am almost convinced that he was teaching them to defend themselves.

I think these are a flock of Cedar Waxwings but you should know by now never to trust my IDing of birds.

A turkey Vulture makes her way south enjoying, I'm sure, the breezy ride as she goes.

Palemale is choosing roosting trees at random these last few nights. Tonight he picked one just north of the Locust Grove.
All above photographed on Friday November 23, 2007.
I am experiencing a drastic reduction of genuine* emails for a few weeks now. I reasoned that it may be just a normal decline but now I am meeting many people that are telling me that their mail is being bounced back undelivered. So please be aware that I seem to have a problem with my email which I'll look into right away. If anyone wants to write until I get this resolved you may do so at lincoln_karim@ap.org
* However the number of junk mail I receive has shot up in the hundreds each day.
