For the people interested in the technical side of the photographs on this site: Since mid February 2005 I've been using Canon Pro Digital bodies with Canon L-series lenses. I used Sigma SD9 Digital body with Sigma lenses in 2003/2004. In 2002 I used a Nikon Coolpix 5000 and before that - film. For much more information of the tech side please visit Cal Vornberger's Website. Cal was always courteous and extremely helpful to me even back when I knew very little and had only moderate amateur gear. Cal is a true pro photographer and extremely knowledgeable in his field. I bump into many still photographers in Central Park and most of them were the source of knowledge and advice for me--and still are. Rik Davis, who sets up a telescope at The MSB Pond almost every day is also extremely helpful. Rik has been a pro-studio photographer for many years. He produces amazing work with his telescope and a Point & Shoot Digital camera (Digi-scoping). He is methodical and patient and I find myself continually amazed with the high quality of work he produces with his relatively simple tools. Rik Davis's Website. |
