Very recent feedback.

Palemale Jr. & Charlotte's nest on 888 Seventh Avenue.

9:06AM Wednesday: Charlotte sits with her baby. Only one chick appears to have hatched.

As you may imagine it's a very tough nest to see into and likewise to photograph. I was only able to see one little stinker. During the time I observed the nest Junior perched on several spots on the Essex sign.

I took time off from Palemale & Lola's nest to visit the Fordham University's Red Tails in the Bronx on Tuesday evening.

It's extremely rare to see a cross between a Red-tail and a mockingbird.

Another rare sight is to see these three white guys in the Bronx, but here they are.

Their nest and their entire fledging area has to be the most ideal--beautiful nearby trees just a short jump away, plenty of wing-practice surface and no cars for several hundred yards.

Mom has one of those nasty things on her precious leg. I can't imagine what that feels like when it gets very cold or even very hot.

Some serious philosophical debates take place in and around Fordham.
This may be so, but somehow I feel like I saw this very woman in East Harlem with almost the same sign except the last word was 'RAO'S'
