January 9, 2007

Tuesday morning the sunlight hesitated through the unwilling clouds until it succumbed to the thick white mass over Manhattan.

I was left with only a chalky light in which to admire my two friends.

Lola on the Beresford Tuesday morning when there were short periods of bright light--no idea if she slept there.

Lola getting some exercise over Sparrow Rock (84th Street & West Drive) before moving over to her perch on the Eastside.

Lola on her window between 77th & 78th Streets (Lower level on the old Stovepipe building).

About a half mile away, through the leafless treetops, there stood Palemale perched low near the East Drive.

Three baby squirrels in the Ramble.

I had to force myself to leave him and head off to work.
