I have looked deep into the eyes of animals and their innocence shall stay in my heart forever.
This makes it very difficult to remain silent when I see the skins of these creatures draped across the obtuse frame of a human who appears to be unaware of the course of events that went into the making of the dreadful coat they wear.

It is indeed a difficult task to convince a person to change their overindulgent ways just for the sake of a small creature that they will never see or hear.

Make it your business to speak up to end this cruelty and you’ll be hushed into a corner.

I’ll speak as loud as I can but hopefully not too loud that it’ll be my last word.

Maybe at first glance these captions appear not to fit appropriately with these images, but I am sending my gratitude to the brave voices that once spoke out and risked their own welfare to stop the slaughter of red tailed hawks, because Bloomingdales may now be offering garments made with genuine hawk feathers--the paler feathers I’m sure would have a higher price tag.

I believe once you hear the sound of the ocean you’ll never stop hearing its roar regardless of how far inland you stray. I feel the same sort of thing holds true for the starlight--once you’re bathed in its radiance it will glow inside you forever.

I bless the day I discovered the beauty of our Earth’s most prized inhabitants, but maybe I should dread that day also because since then my life continues with growing friction.

When I see the birds flying like they’ve done for millions of years I know they see that all the destruction below them is just a passing phase and with just one strong wind it will all be back on track. So I try to see what they see.

As difficult a task that may be I feel like I do see little cracks in reality that exposes the peace to be had in some distant time. But what I can’t feel is the patience those animals have to endure as this dreadful phase passes.
