Think of it as 3D-TV for the kids

Palemale over The MSB Pond

Palemale & Lola continues to incubate their eggs. It is a beautiful thing to pretend to live in their world of not giving up easily.
Just watching them each day living their wholesome lives--the simplicity and the harmony with the natural world is such a reward--babies or not. There are so many things to be still happy about while we wait for their eggs to hatch; to watch him call to her from four blocks away to tell her food is on the way, to see her get up off the nest and stretch as he comes over to her with no words spoken.
To see a bond so strong between two creatures that need no outside reinforcement to keep it intact--these are daily rewards to keep the observer lifted while we wait.

A special little guy takes a moment to enjoy a little breeze passing across his face.

I think that little breeze felt relly good.

Palemale sits in one of his favorite Westside places--McEnroe's window in The Beresford.

She must know what the sun was doing to her feathers on that cozy little spot on that tree.

I was guided by the ruckus this little guy was making near The Oven until I found him on this branch sticking his long tongue out to get his food.
